1- Photophysics and photochemistry of late transition metal complexes.
2- Development of new types of solar cells based on wide band gap semiconductors tethered with inorganic dyes.
3- Development of electroluminescent

devices based on phosphorescent coordination compounds.
Projects included:
1- Homogeneous catalysis in supercritical
CO2
using Rh(I) catalysts.
2- Synthesis of luminescent gold rings and
supramolecular chains.
3- Optoelectronic properties of group 11
complexes.
Teaching and curriculum development of
lecture and
laboratory courses in instrumental analysis and general
chemistry.Research
included modeling the use of Ag+-doped ZSM-5 zeolites as
catalysts
for the photodecomposition of nitric oxide.
