Jakob Akiba Marinsky

1918-2005

  He was a codiscoverer of promethium (with Coryell and Glendenin) at Oak Ridge National Laboratory in Oak Ridge, Tennessee. Later he was Professor of chemistry at SUNY (State University of New York) in Buffalo, New York.
