Scheele discovered nitrogen, oxygen, fluorine (hydrogen fluoride), chlorine,
and manganese here (see map 3 for details).
Modern pharmacy, Svavagallerian Mall (corner of Bredgränd and Dragarbrunsgata),
N59 51.50 E17 38.58, site of exhibit on Scheele. Access to the pharmacy within
the mall can be gained either from Bredgränd or Dragarbrunnsgatan 50 (see
map 3 for details).
Chemistry building (1700s), the "Laboratorium Chemicum," Västra
Ågatan 24, N59 51.33 E17 38.43. Site of famous chemists, including Bergman,
the promoter of Scheele. Tantalum was discovered here by Ekeberg.

helium, scandium; holmium; thulium; titanium metal prepared).

38.20. Celsius, the famous astronometer, is best known for his development of
the Celsius thermometer scale (see map 3).
Upplandsmuseet (Upplands County Museum), Sankt Eriks gränd 6, N59
51.52 E17 38.07, which has interesting exhibits and which is responsible for
the original stone plaque mounted on the old pharmacy and which is now in storage.
